Podcast host Robert Centor, MD, MACP, discussed the study with Colin P. West, MD, PhD, FACP, a professor of medicine, medical education, and biostatistics at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. The study, a pooled analysis of four randomized trials, was published on Oct. 11 by Annals of Internal Medicine and was summarized in the October ACP Gastroenterology Monthly.
