Case reports published on gastroenterology, hepatology topics
Reports on colitis remission, ruptured spontaneous hepatic subcapsular hematoma, esophageal varices secondary to pulmonary hypertension, and more were published in the past month.
Annals of Internal Medicine: Clinical Cases recently published several case reports on gastroenterology and hepatology topics.
A case series and two case reports published Dec. 6 described colitis remission with fecal transplant leading to immunotherapy resumption, survival after ruptured spontaneous hepatic subcapsular hematoma following heparin initiation, and uphill and downhill esophageal varices secondary to pulmonary hypertension.
Three case reports published Nov. 15 discussed an unusual case of jejunal diverticulitis, hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae with pyogenic liver abscess and disseminated multifocal osteomyelitis, and acute cholecystitis associated with Listeria monocytogenes.
