More laxatives recalled due to microbial contamination
Recalled products were distributed nationwide at CVS drugstore locations.
Vi-Jon LLC is recalling all lots of CVS Magnesium Citrate Saline Laxative Oral Solution Lemon Flavor (10 oz) to the consumer level due to microbial contamination, the FDA announced on July 15.
Testing identified the affected lot to contain Gluconacetobacter liquefaciens. Recalled products were distributed nationwide at CVS drugstore locations. To date, the company has received one report of an adverse reaction potentially related to this recall.
