Anti-TNF therapy did not reduce IBD hospitalizations or intestinal resections in Ontario

Screening for Lynch syndrome less effective at older ages, study finds
Lynch syndrome is rare after age 80 years, making the efficiency of universal screening very low, so stopping reflex screening in this age group may be reasonable, particularly in resource-limited settings, the study authors said.

Weight loss interventions may improve biomarkers of liver disease in NAFLD
In a meta-analysis of 22 studies in patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), weight loss interventions were associated with improvements in alanine aminotransferase level, liver steatosis, histologic NAFLD activity score, and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis.

Study finds higher proportion of CRC diagnoses in patients under 50 since 2004

Trial demonstrates noninferiority of cold snare polyp removal for patients on anticoagulation
