Case reports cover disorders of the gallbladder
One describes sarcoidosis of the gallbladder wall and another details gallbladder ascariasis.
Two recent case reports in Annals of Internal Medicine: Clinical Cases dealt with disorders of the gallbladder.
The first case report was published April 15 and described a 37-year-old man with pulmonary and hepatic sarcoidosis who was hospitalized for right upper quadrant pain and found to have sarcoidosis in the gallbladder wall. The second, published April 1, described a 30-year-old woman who presented with acute pancreatitis and was found to have gallbladder ascariasis due to parasitic migration.
