Three case reports on gastroenterology topics were published this month by Annals of Internal Medicine: Clinical Cases.
One reported the case of a patient with gastric hyperplastic polyps and upper GI bleeding as an unusual presentation of malignancy. The second case highlighted the importance of having a high suspicion of rectal ulceration in patients after radiation therapy. The third report described classic exam and imaging findings in a patient with primary epiploic appendagitis. All were published May 3.
