Case reports published on gastroenterology topics
Reports on a giant posterior mediastinal metastatic mass of primary gastric origin and a rare case of idiopathic black esophagus, duodenum, and jejunum were published this month.
Two case reports on gastroenterology topics were published this month by Annals of Internal Medicine: Clinical Cases.
One reported the case of a patient with an uncommon location and unusually large GI stromal tumor as a mediastinal mass three years after undergoing total gastrectomy and chemotherapy with imatinib. The other reported a rare case of idiopathic black esophagus, duodenum, and jejunum with sparing of the stomach and only mild symptoms. Both case reports were published April 5.
